Erika & John enjoyed an absolutely gorgeous day in August when they became man and wife – and more awesome, as they would put it. 🙂 Erika and her mother spent many hours planning the perfect day – and helping them being their vision come to life was a true pleasure.
Erika & John started their day with first look photos at the Calhoun Beach Club on one of the most beautiful days that August had to offer this year. A Calhoun Beach Club wedding is certainly nothing to sneeze at – what a stunning venue! With their signature staircase as a backdrop, John saw his bride for the first time before spending some time with their bridal party around the lake for pictures. The ceremony began later in the afternoon at St Thomas University in another stunning locale. A unique part of the ceremony was that the couple had asked the most adorable group of little girls and boys to be their ring bearers and flower girls – watching them walk down the aisle before the bride was such a fun sight! With a personal message from the priest due to having known the couple while they were in college there, the ceremony was sweet and funny. Guests “showered” the couple with bubbles as they left the church and were on their way to the reception.
Calhoun Beach Club welcomed guests with cocktail hour on the terrace and a beautiful modern room that wowed everyone. The candelabras made such a distinct look on the tables and the clean, modern flowers were perfect. A unique detail was the escort cards – they were placed in mini pewter chairs with a sign for guests to “take their seat” – functional and a fun keepsake! After dinner and some heartfelt toasts, John’s family tradition by an uncle showcased a roast in parody form which got the guests warmed up and comfortable. The cake was one of the best I’ve ever tasted – a caramel banana with chocolate ganache concoction that was to die for! Guests danced all night long – and we even avoided any Greek plate-smashing! The photobooth and fireworks by the lake kept guests entertained, as well as one of the best DJs in the metro by Bellagala.
What a fun day for such a beautiful – inside and out – couple. Congrats Erika & John!

“Meredith is a very reliable bride-support professional with a great personality and fun to work with!
• Has knowledge of other wedding vendors (florists, etc.)
• Meredith put together an incredible, easy-to-follow, and perfectly detailed itinerary for both the rehearsal & wedding day.
• Organized the ‘to-do’s brides & bridal parties do not have the extra time to think about during day of!
I have been and will continue to recommend Meredith to my friends who are engaged… it is worth it. :)”

Mother of the Bride, Athena, wrote the following review…
“As the mother of the Bride planning my daughter’s wedding in MN from CA I was doing a lot of research online where I came across Meredith from Bride Support.
We hired Meredith for the day of coordination and we are very pleased we did.  Meredith was very professional, organized, friendly and resourceful!  She was always available to answer questions and did a great job creating a time line for the wedding day. Meredith  was a great help for everyone during rehearsal, ceremony and setting up at the reception. She even went out of her way to come and pick up the favors the night before!  Meredith did an awesome job!”Â
