Megan & Tony – 10/20/12

Megan & Tony came to Bride Support when they needed some help pulling all of their details together and making sure their Minnesota wedding day flowed well. Their ceremony took place at the historic Fort Snelling Chapel before the reception began at the Wabasha Street Caves. Guests were treated to a cocktail hour including tours of the caves before the newlyweds arrived to the caves in a horse-drawn carriage. Megan & Tony included some unique details into their decor like butcher paper on the tables as “linens” for coloring, pictures from childhood hanging along string on the walls and fun old movie posters plastered around the venue. After dinner, toasts and special dances – guests enjoyed partying all night long and celebrating the newlyweds! Congrats Megan & Tony!

Brittany & Mick – 10/6/2012

Brittany & Mick’s wedding at The Minneapolis Club was such a fun and loving day!

The couple chose The Minneapolis Club for it’s convenience and beauty…and it did not disappoint  Their ceremony took place in the main lounge. The groom and his best man (jazz musicians) played their guitars for prelude and when it was time for the ceremony to start, a friend of the groom took over with lounge/jazz piano. The ceremony was officiated by a friend of the couple – such a personal way to do things. The bride & groom could not keep their hands off of each other the entire time – and even stole a few cheek kisses…so cute. 🙂 After a rousing celebration for becoming man and wife, the couple greeted their guests and sent them on their way to cocktail hour.

The guests moved upstairs to the regal dining room for dinner, rounding up with toasts by fathers, honor attendants and siblings of the couple. Guests were then escorted back downstairs for cake, first dance and dancing. Not to mention a photo booth and slide show of the couple running in the background.

With such a fun and loving couple – it was easy to see their love for each other seeping out for all to witness. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day! Congrats Brittany & Mick!

Brittany wrote the following review…

“Meredith was SO SO SO SO SO SO amazing!!!!!!! Mick (the Hubby) and I could not have dreamed up a better wedding planner! She was all to wonderful! This is what she was born to do.”

Danielle & Jamie – 9/29/12

Danielle & Jamie were a pleasure to help with their big day! They brought us to southern MN to their celebration in Danielle’s hometown of Windom, MN.

The ceremony took place at the church Danielle grew up in – the simple candles lining the aisle with ribbon in her color – navy – was all the church needed to be dressed up with. Guests signed their photo book of engagement photos as their guestbook and witnessed the beautiful ceremony that unfolded in front of them.

Afterwards, guests were invited to the local community center for cocktail hour and the reception. Peacock feathers and colors adorned the room while guests enjoyed the musical stylings of Nora Events. The fathers kicked off the night with some toasts and after dinner, the maid of honor (bride’s sister) and best man (groom’s brother) took the mic. A great moment was when the best man noted that any girl who currently still has a key to Jamie’s place should now return it and more than 15 (obviously planted) girls from the crowd walked up to the head table with keys to turn over! 🙂 The guests danced all night and were more than happy to celebrate Danielle & Jamie…congrats!
