Van & Charles – 6/9/2012

Van came to Bride Support looking for some reassurance and peace of mind – and we were glad to give it to her tenfold. After booking us right before Christmas, we spent the remaining 6 months of Van & Charles’ engagement working to make sure her vendors were perfect for her, confirming etiquette of wedding plans and vendor agreements and helping her put the finishing touches on the details of her big day. And what a day it was! As the celebration day unfolded, it because obvious that Charles & Van were the perfect compliment to each other. What a lovely couple – and a great group of friends and families who helped them celebrate at their intimate wedding.

Van & Charles gave their guests great convenience by hosting their reception at a fabulous hotel that took great care of everything and was close to the church. Their personal ceremony was a beautiful one, topped off with a bubble exit from the church. After a few pictures at Centennial Lakes with the bridal party, the newlyweds joined their guests at the reception for a fun cocktail hour – complete with butler passed signature cocktails. I, personally, was thankful for an extra hour in-between the ceremony and reception and a venue close to many shops so that I was able to run out and buy glassine bags for the candy buffet (as they did not come with the set-up, apparently) – whew! 🙂 The reception had many fun and sweet moments from some heartfelt toasts, to adorable parent/children dances and even a special Newlywed Game hosted by the bride’s aunts! What a fun crew – it was a pleasure being a part of the big day!

“I’m so glad I hired Meredith for “the day” of coordination. She did a great job with organizing everything and made sure that my day went as smoothly as possible, which it did 🙂 She always replied to my emails, no matter how small the issues were. Great job!!!”

Phyllis & David – 6/3/12

What a lovely couple. What a sharp-looking bunch. What a romantic wedding!

Phyllis and David put a lot of personal touches and hard work into their wedding to make sure it truly exuded “them.” And it certainly worked! Guests were treated to lots of fun surprises all night that made them say “Wow – how fun is that!?” With an on-top-of-it bridal party, Phyllis & David enjoyed a wedding to remember at The Depot in downtown Minneapolis – such a unique and wonderful spot to host your guests in the heart of the Twin Cities. They shared a romantic and intimate ceremony – with hilarious custom vows, a friend officiating (oh! and my favorite moment – a harp playing lightly in the background during the vows and exchange of rings!) and beautiful garden-like decor followed by a fun, lively and celebratory reception. The couple let no detail go unnoticed – including lots of DIY projects such as custom sashes and flower pins for cocktail tables, photo books for guests to peruse during cocktail hour, props for the photo booth and lots of custom signage. They treated their guests to some fun moments throughout the night including a special swing dance that the couple had learned (in addition to their first dance!), a 2nd reception dress, the bride rapping to Nicki Minaj (!!) and sparklers at the end of the night. Oh – wait!…and the guests being filmed in different group shots lip-syncing to “I Say A Little Prayer” for what’s sure to be an AWESOME mash-up video. We had a blast being a part of this one – and it’s certainly one for the memory book!

I love planning and spent a lot of time thinking about every detail of my wedding. I knew it was going to be busy on the wedding day, so I wanted to find someone who could keep everything organized and carry out my vision. In came Meredith! She is a consummate professional, who goes over and beyond to help couples on their big day.

When it came to correspondence, she was super responsive to my emails (and there were a lot the week before the wedding!). She made sure she understood my plans, and most importantly, she was someone I absolutely trusted to coordinate all the wedding details. She was a dream come true! And further icing on the cake — her rate was the best I found in the Minneapolis area for a day-of-wedding coordinator. Hiring Bride Support was the best money we spent on our wedding.

Meredith is the best!!! Highly recommend!”

Denise & Nathan – 6/30/12

What a day filled with family, love and laughter! The emotional warmth was palpable and it was an honor to be a part of such a special, family-oriented day!

Denise & Nathan brought Bride Support along for the ride of planning their outdoor summer wedding in MN. The groom’s parents had hosted a wedding before, so they were prepared – which was good, because a lot goes into a wedding at home! We helped the couple shop for all their vendors – including wedding tent rental (for both ceremony and reception) and helped them navigate the wedding planning waters. With their soft spirits, outgoing personalities and desire for one another – they were fun to work with.

They incorporated a lot of fun traditions from the bride’s home – Ireland – which was a lot of fun to see. And luckily – a lot of family and friends were able to be here for the big day, as well! The ceremony was very sentimental with lots of personal readings and touches and the guests enjoyed a beautiful Minnesota evening filled with good food, music, cake and fun.

What a joy it is to see a bride & groom enjoying themselves and their guests – congrats, Denise & Nate!
