Jessica & Mike – 4/6/13

Jessica & Mike were such a sweet couple to work with on their laid-back, romantic wedding.

The day started off with an intimate first look at the conservatory at the Minneapolis sculpture garden – such an idyllic place for a moment like that! Soon enough, the bridal party and families congregated at FIVE Event Center in the heart of Minneapolis. FIVE is such a unique and fun place to host guests – so fun! One unique item that I loved seeing in the details before the ceremony was that the couple opted to give the three ring bearers a unique take on boutonnieres – miniature super hero figurines on magnets! The boys were thrilled to get to put them on their shirts. 🙂 The candlelit ceremony was super sweet and meaningful to the couple with a relative as the officiant and a phenomenal vocalist/guitarist who made it beautiful. After the ceremony, guests moved downstairs for cocktail hour while the upstairs area was flipped to reception set-up. Once welcomed back up, guests were treated to a dinner, hilarious toasts by those close to the couple and a great dance party.

Congratulations, Jessica & Mike – it was a pleasure being a part of your big day!

“Meredith did a great job as our day-of wedding coordinator! She was very organized and extremely helpful with any questions that I had during the planning process. Our wedding ceremony and reception went really well – and it was great not having to worry about anything since Meredith helped so much on our big day. I would definitely recommend Meredith to future brides and grooms!”

Riley & Cameron – 9/17/11

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – this wedding was the coolest wedding I’ve ever been to. With a ceremony in a city street and the reception at the new, hip venue in town – it was sure to be just that. A guest was quoted as saying, “This wedding is so 2011…” with a response of “No, this wedding is so 2015.”

Riley & Cameron are both Minneapolis people through and through – so it only made sense to make their wedding as hip and “Sex in the City” as possible. The ceremony in the city street was so romantic with an incredible a capella vocalist singing as the bride walked down the aisle in her short and sassy dress with fabulous blue Manolo Blahniks. The guys wore slim black suits and the ceremony was as funny as it was romantic. After a group shot of all of the guests, everyone walked around the corner to the reception venue and got the party started. They stopped for a paparazzi-like photo shoot in front of a Hollywood-like step-and-repeat backdrop and partied all night. The guests raved about the “un-photobooth” as well as the food (apps and pizza!) and dessert (warm cookies and milk). What a fun night for a special couple who are clearly head over heels for one another!

“I can’t say enough good things about Bride Support. I met with Meredith from Bride Support early on in my wedding planning; working with her was by far the best choice I made (except for my choice in who to marry!) for my wedding. I had so many out-of-the-ordinary ideas, and she made them happen. From getting married in the middle of a city street, to having a Hollywood-like step-and-repeat as an “un-photobooth”, she made it all go over seamlessly! She was so flexible with all my decision changes (believe me, I made them daily!), and never made me feel like the jumbled bride I probably was. No matter what time of day I emailed her with my frustrations or concerns, she was always quick with a response, usually fixing everything! The best thing was that on my wedding day I felt like she actually cared that the day was perfect. She was behind the scenes making everything happen, and was by my side when I turned around to look for her. Bride Support was really this bride’s best friend!”
