Emily & Jeremy – 12/1/2012

Emily & Jeremy were such a sweet and fun couple to work with on their special wedding day! ūüôā

After finding me at a wedding show, Emily was quick to take some of the weight off of her shoulders and be able to trust Bride Support with the details of her big day – so that she could actually enjoy it!

Emily & Jeremy started their wedding day off with a super sweet ceremony that included a¬†ukulele,¬†family vows, accordion, sing-a-long of “Lean On Me”¬†and a ring-warming ceremony (so cute!)! After greeting their guests and taking some pictures in Rice Park, they met up with everyone at the reception at the Wabasha Street Caves. The caves are such a fun venue and guests truly love being in such a unique, historical place. After dinner, guests were entertained with a photo booth, cupcake buffet and the awesome musical stylings of the Riverside Swing Band (including swing dance lessons!). The party went on all night, including some late-night DJing by the band’s front man. What an incredibly fun day for an incredibly awesome couple. Congrats Emily & Jeremy!

Emily & Jeremy wrote the following review…

“Every bride needs a day-of wedding coordinator! If you are type A and are excited to plan your own wedding, but just want some help along the way, then a day-of coordinator is the way to go. Meredith was fantastic, both during the planning process and on the big day! She helped with vendor suggestions, checked in regularly to see if I was “on track” with my plans, created a day-of timeline, and handled all of the logistics the day of the wedding. It was so nice not to ask family or friends to handle that stuff on the wedding day…we all were able to enjoy the day and take it all in. My husband and I were so calm and relaxed on our wedding day and have wonderful memories since we were able to fully participate in the day. We didn’t need to talk to vendors, do set up, etc. Many people commented on how well Meredith ran everything. It was noticed not just by the wedding party and vendors, but family and guests too! I would not have traded her services for anything! The services Bride Support provides is a great value and definitely worth it! I would recommend Meredith to any bride and groom!”

Sharda & Dan – 11/9/12

Sharda & Dan’s’s wedding at the Profile Event Center was such a fun and adorable day! Sharda came to use a year before her wedding needing someone to keep her on track, help her with all the details and make sure everything was handled well. Lucky for her – that’s exactly what we do! ūüôā

Sharda & Dan’s day began with a champagne toast upon arrival and a heartfelt ceremony at the Profile Event Center that included lots of laughter and tears of joy. What a passionate couple these two are! After sealing the deal with a kiss, the couple treated their guests to a hearty cocktail hour and dinner before getting the party started. Sharda included lots of personal touches into the day – signature cocktails, pink straws in memory of Dan’s mother, lots of engagement pictures displayed, a personalized gourmet candy buffet and a wish balloon launch, to name a few! Guests were catered to with every decision on this wedding day – and they sure appreciated it. It was a fun day that was full of joy. Congrats, you two! ūüôā

Sharda & Dan wrote the following review…

“I started working with Meredith Nov. 2011 and got married 11/9/12. Meredith was a godsend. I decided to hire a wedding planner because my mother in law, who was helping me with the majority of my planning passed away and i felt so lost without her help. I came to Meredith with just a few ideas I had already worked on and she took me by the hand and helped me plan my perfect wedding.

Meredith gave me ideas and never stepped on any of my crazy wedding day dreams, she made sure i was up to date with my DIY projects and always kept track of the ideas that i had even forgotten about. She worked tirelessly with wedding vendors making sure contracts were fair and answered any questions the vendors had. I never knew how important it was to hire a wedding planner until i was at a wedding show and signed a bogus contract without Meredith being there for chair covers and bows. I thought i was getting them at a steal but it turns out that there was a fine print in the set/take down charges that would have cost me double what the chairs & bows were. when i tried cancelling the contract, i found out that the money i already gave to them was non-refundable and any overages paid to them (b/c my guest count was less than i paid for) was non-refundable. I wish i would have consulted with Meredith because she read every vendor contract and would have fully explained the consequences before i signed, so i didn’t loose money.

If you hire her for day-of coordinating then that’s a great choice but I would recommend every bride to hire for your entire wedding experience. Meredith is professional, loyal and she was truly looking out for my best interest. I trusted her to make my day perfect and she truly did not disappoint me. I didn’t have to worry about a thing & any mistakes or problems that happened on wedding day I did not even notice. Guest at my wedding said it was the best wedding they ever attended and I know its because of how Meredith made my wedding day go by so smoothly.”

Brittany & Mick – 10/6/2012

Brittany & Mick’s wedding at The Minneapolis Club was such a fun and loving day!

The couple chose The Minneapolis Club for it’s convenience and beauty…and it did not¬†disappoint¬† Their ceremony took place in the main lounge. The groom and his best man (jazz musicians) played their guitars for prelude and when it was time for the ceremony to start, a friend of the groom took over with lounge/jazz piano. The ceremony was officiated by a friend of the couple – such a personal way to do things. The bride & groom could not keep their hands off of each other the entire time – and even stole a few cheek kisses…so cute. ūüôā After a rousing celebration for becoming man and wife, the couple greeted their guests and sent them on their way to cocktail hour.

The guests moved upstairs to the regal dining room for dinner, rounding up with toasts by fathers, honor attendants and siblings of the couple. Guests were then escorted back downstairs for cake, first dance and dancing. Not to mention a photo booth and slide show of the couple running in the background.

With such a fun and loving couple – it was easy to see their love for each other seeping out for all to witness. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day! Congrats Brittany & Mick!

Danielle & Jamie – 9/29/12

Danielle & Jamie were a pleasure to help with their big day! They brought us to southern MN to their celebration in Danielle’s hometown of Windom, MN.

The ceremony took place at the church Danielle grew up in – the simple candles lining the aisle with ribbon in her color – navy – was all the church needed to be dressed up with. Guests signed their photo book of engagement photos as their guestbook and witnessed the beautiful ceremony that unfolded in front of them.

Afterwards, guests were invited to the local community center for cocktail hour and the reception. Peacock feathers and colors adorned the room while guests enjoyed the musical stylings of Nora Events. The fathers kicked off the night with some toasts and after dinner, the maid of honor (bride’s sister) and best man (groom’s brother) took the mic. A great moment was when the best man noted that any girl who currently still has a key to Jamie’s place should now return it and more than 15 (obviously planted) girls from the crowd walked up to the head table with keys to turn over! ūüôā The guests danced all night and were more than happy to celebrate Danielle & Jamie…congrats!

Katy & Bill – 9/15/12

Katy & Bill had a unique and fun wedding that guests raved about all night!

With a “blank slate” venue like PNA Hall – Katy and Bill had a vision of how they wanted their day to look. With blue and white lanterns hanging all around and some gorgeous flowers by a friend, the room was ready as guests started arrive. The stage at the hall was reserved for the bride and groom’s ceremony, so guests gathered around it as well as lined the aisle that they walked down. With a sweet and endearing ceremony, two became one and the party began immediately after the couple recessed down the aisle and grabbed a beer for the receiving line. ūüôā

Guests milled about during cocktail hour and were anxious for the Chow Girls dinner to begin. After eating – parents and honor attendants gave their toasts…including a super fun slideshow/speech from the bride’s girlfriends. The party started with the couple’s first dance while DQ blizzard cakes were served for dessert. This crowd sure knew how to party – and they did! Congrats, Katy & Bill!
