Lindsey & Brian – 8/31/2014

Lindsey & her mother came to me when they felt they needed a little extra guidance with finding vendors and putting together all of the pieces to create a beautiful wedding day. They were great to work with – and a beautiful day it was, indeed.

Rush Creek was a lovely backdrop for this storybook day. The outdoor ceremony was threatened by rain – and ended with just a few sprinkles (oh well!) on the union. As guests came inside they were greeted with a stunning room decorated with lots of sparkle and shine. The hits of the reception were the candy bar and slow-motion booth – good entertainment for all! Congrats Lindsey & Brian!

Michelle & Jon – 8/30/2014

This “I Do BBQ” was one for the book! With a savvy thrifter with tons of style and a helpful DIY crew – Michelle had the perfect look and plans for her casual wedding. We helped her pull together the details and execute on the day of – and what a pleasure it was to be a part of this special day. Guests arrived to a local park where the ceremony took place under the shelter. The altar was decorated with a hand-made wooden sign, a beautiful area rug and floral to tie it together. After the personal “I dos” – filled with friends playing music and even officiating – guests grabbed a drink from the beverage cart and played lawn games while more friends showed up to the celebration. The Fork-in-the-Road food truck served a yummy meal, and cupcakes came out for dessert. But don’t forget about the children face-painting, s’mores and campfire – all helping this chic and casual BBQ wedding just perfect. Congrats, Michelle & Jon!

Debbie & Paul – 8/15/2014

Debbie & Paul hosted such a fun wedding for their friends & family. It was a beautiful day on the river in St Paul when these two wed – and we were honored to be a part of it!

The ceremony included an adorable reading of a book about love, the bridal party looked cool & casual and the guests waved ribbon wands as the bride & groom were announced man and wife. Hooray! Oh – and the bride’s unique DIY brooch bouquet was an eye-catcher…so fun! Guests enjoyed the beautiful scenery during cocktail hour and dinner and partied all night to celebrate this special occasion. Congrats, you two!

Kate & Bill – 8/9/2014

A casual yet lovely day for Kate & Bill was just perfect and “them” for their wedding day. The Weisman is such a unique and beautiful setting – paired with the gorgeous flowers from A Day in Provence and tasty treats from Common Roots – this wedding was a looker.

The ceremony within the gallery was an easy-going, romantic one with a stunning bride and handsome groom dedicating their lives to one another. Guests mingled during cocktail hour – looking at the artwork, brushing up on their Minnesota trivia and checking out the travel-themed elements that the couple incorporated. The rest of the night was a fun celebration of a beautiful couple – congrats, you two! 🙂

Danielle & Eric – 7/26/14

What a gorgeous wedding this one was! Aria never disappoints – and Danielle had put together the perfect combo of peachy-pinks and decor elements that made the day feel bright, summery and chic. My favorite element of the day was the mini succulent pots as escort cards – so sweet! Providing day of coordination for this MN wedding was all of our pleasure. Congratulations, Danielle & Eric!

Meghan & Paul – 6/29/2014

Meghan & Paul were such a fun couple to work with and their wedding was definitely one of the most memorable ones of the year! A mere NINE days before their wedding was to take place, we got word that their venue had been flooded from all the rainfall we had received and we could no longer host the wedding there. Thankfully, Meghan & Paul put their faith and trust in us and we found them a new venue and re-routed all of the plans to make it work at the new setting. The wedding was so beautiful, everything fell together well with the help of many flexible vendors and everyone was as happy as ever. It was so satisfying to hear Meghan & Paul say how much they loved the last-minute venue and how pleased they were with the day…whew! 🙂

The ceremony took place out on the lawn in front of an old school house on the historical grounds of Gibbs Farm – it was warm and sunny, just as it needed to be. The couple “planted” a tree as their unity ceremony – I always love seeing the unique unity rituals couples do as a part of their ceremony. Reverend Derek did a beautiful ceremony, as always – and then they were finally hitched! Guests enjoyed milling about the tent and barn for the cocktail hour and reception – while listening to fabulous acoustic guitar tunes and enjoying the tasty food and cheesecake – yum! Sara’s Photo Booth kept people entertained, as well, and it was a lovely, intimate, relaxed Sunday wedding. Congrats, Meghan & Kyle!

Alison & Dustin – 2/22/14

Ali & Dustin came to Bride Support for full-service help with their Minnesota winter wedding. They were a blast to work with and the wedding was beautiful!

Guests joined together at the couple’s church in Shakopee to witness them becoming one unit through the vows they promised to each other. With the beautiful guitar stylings of Timothy Howe and a upbeat recessional dance – the ceremony was sweet, meaningful and fun. The couple then greeted their guests at the reception venue – Turtle’s Social Centre – for the party! The couple had named each table after a part of Italy (where they were soon to honeymoon) – along with fun facts and some beautiful centerpieces. The guestbook was a unique one – some cartoon drawings made by a friend that guests then colored in and wrote notes on. There was a photo memory table of loved ones and a gorgeous cake, as well! Guests were wined and dined and then partied all night!

What a great group of family & friends this was – who traveled from near and far on one of the worst winter-driving weekends I can remember in a long time to be there with Ali & Dustin.

Congrats, you two!

Alison & Dustin wrote the following review…

Meredith of Bride Support was hands down the best investment I made while planning my wedding. I could not have done it without her.

I went with the (full-service) package which may seem like unnecessary expense to some but you get your investment back in regards to keeping your sanity as you can have he tpeace in mind that Meredith has it handled.

I was never more thankful for Meredith than the week leading up to my wedding as I came down with a horrible cold -as in laying in bed all day completely out of it. Because I trusted that Meredith had it all handled, I was able to focus more on making sure I got well instead of freaking out that I still needed to do X,Y,Z.

The morning of the wedding was also stress free for me as I knew that Meredith was working on getting the ceremony location and reception ready. It is a wonderful feeling that you have someone who is completely on the same page with you regarding decoration so you don’t have to worry about having to explain to your vision to whoever is setting up that day and hoping they get it right.

Meredith puts together a very detailed hand-out to everyone in the bridal party so that everyone is on the same page and allows the day to run as smoothly as possible (barring stuff that always comes up).

Based on how smoothly the day seemed to run to guests along with the amazing décor that Meredith helped me come up with we are still getting compliments on how wonderful our wedding was from our guests.

In summary, as my review title says, save your sanity and hire Meredith – be it her premium package or her day-of package. I promise you will not regret it!”
