Alison & Dustin – 2/22/14

Ali & Dustin came to Bride Support for full-service help with their Minnesota winter wedding. They were a blast to work with and the wedding was beautiful!

Guests joined together at the couple’s church in Shakopee to witness them becoming one unit through the vows they promised to each other. With the beautiful guitar stylings of Timothy Howe and a upbeat recessional dance – the ceremony was sweet, meaningful and fun. The couple then greeted their guests at the reception venue – Turtle’s Social Centre – for the party! The couple had named each table after a part of Italy (where they were soon to honeymoon) – along with fun facts and some beautiful centerpieces. The guestbook was a unique one – some cartoon drawings made by a friend that guests then colored in and wrote notes on. There was a photo memory table of loved ones and a gorgeous cake, as well! Guests were wined and dined and then partied all night!

What a great group of family & friends this was – who traveled from near and far on one of the worst winter-driving weekends I can remember in a long time to be there with Ali & Dustin.

Congrats, you two!

Alison & Dustin wrote the following review…

Meredith of Bride Support was hands down the best investment I made while planning my wedding. I could not have done it without her.

I went with the (full-service) package which may seem like unnecessary expense to some but you get your investment back in regards to keeping your sanity as you can have he tpeace in mind that Meredith has it handled.

I was never more thankful for Meredith than the week leading up to my wedding as I came down with a horrible cold -as in laying in bed all day completely out of it. Because I trusted that Meredith had it all handled, I was able to focus more on making sure I got well instead of freaking out that I still needed to do X,Y,Z.

The morning of the wedding was also stress free for me as I knew that Meredith was working on getting the ceremony location and reception ready. It is a wonderful feeling that you have someone who is completely on the same page with you regarding decoration so you don’t have to worry about having to explain to your vision to whoever is setting up that day and hoping they get it right.

Meredith puts together a very detailed hand-out to everyone in the bridal party so that everyone is on the same page and allows the day to run as smoothly as possible (barring stuff that always comes up).

Based on how smoothly the day seemed to run to guests along with the amazing décor that Meredith helped me come up with we are still getting compliments on how wonderful our wedding was from our guests.

In summary, as my review title says, save your sanity and hire Meredith – be it her premium package or her day-of package. I promise you will not regret it!”

Sara & Robb – 2/1/14

Sara & Robb were such a sweet couple to work with! They hosted a glamorous wedding day at Aria that was beautiful in every facet. Guests arrived and signed quilt squares as a guestbook and then got seated for the ceremony. After a sweet and personal ceremony – the couple was announced man & wife and during the kiss came a balloon drop – what fun! Guests enjoyed the beauty of Aria during cocktail hour in the foyer and then were welcomed back into the main hall for dinner & dancing. Guests were treated to a yummy dessert buffet after dinner and took home cute little hot chocolate favors put together by the bride. What a fun day – congrats you two!

Alyson & Eric – 10/26/13

Alyson & Eric came to Bride Support for help planning a Minneapolis wedding  with just 6 months to go before when they realized – they needed serious help! They had a venue and a photographer…but as for the rest – they were lost. No problem! Bride Support stepped right in and helped them line up the rest of their fabulous vendors, come to terms on a style/look and gave ideas on how to pull it all together through the details. The result? A fantastic, beautiful and fun day!

Alyson & Eric hosted their guests at Bunker Hills Golf Course and boy, was it a beautiful setting for a fall wedding in Minnesota. The ceremony was emotional and sweet – with beautiful singing/playing by Angela Bobick and a personalized ceremony by Rev. Toni. I’ll never forget that aisle – lined with stunning autumnal pumpkins with a lovely mix and cat-tails peering out. Soon, the reception began with a yummy meal, tasty cake, fun photobooth and hopping dance…and don’t forget the donuts-to-go favor! :) What a fun day this was – and a sweet couple to work with on it. Congrats, you two!

Sara & Ryan – 10/19/13

What a wedding this was! Sara & Ryan pulled out all the stops to make sure they threw a fabulous day – and boy, did they! Bride Support was along for the ride under the premium coordination package – and wow, was it a fun one to help plan!

Sara & Ryan started their day at church where their friends & family witnessed them becoming one through marriage. With a beautiful setting and sweet ceremony – they finally tied the knot and made it official. Guests moved to Harriet Island Pavilion where cocktail hour music was provided by Orange Mighty Trio and the celebration began. With tasty food by Lettuce Cater, fabulous decor by Colleen’s Flower Cellar, The Covered Chair, Avant Decor and Festivities and a rockin’ good time by the Brian Kinney Band – this reception was hard to beat. Oh – but don’t forget the late night snack…tots by a local food truck, Tot Boss! YUM! This crew partied until the last minute and were more than happy to help the new couple celebrate! Thanks for letting us be a part of your big day, Sara & Ryan!

Allison & Nic – 10/5/2013

Allison & Nic, although living in the south, wanted to host their special day in a location that holds a special place in their hearts – St Paul. They invited their intimate group of guests (from all over the US) to two of St Paul’s most beautiful spots – Como Conservatory and W.A. Frost. Their morning ceremony in the Sunken Garden was touching, sweet and so intimate. As guests stood nearby, and the harp played – they made their way to the front of the garden to promise the rest of their lives to each other. Then, guests moved to W.A. Frost for a delicious brunch at the iconic restaurant. Such a lovely group of guests – and an even lovelier couple…best wishes to you two!

Allison & Nic wrote the following review…
“Meredith, from bridesupport.com, was a lifesaver in so many ways for our wedding.  There wasn’t a conversation between my then-fiancé and I related to the wedding that didn’t include, “Make sure we tell Meredith about this… She’s so great.”

I was in doubt about the necessity of having a wedding coordinator- even a “day-of wedding coordinator.”  I didn’t think it’d be worth the money.  My then-fiancé convinced me that it, if nothing else, it might help to ease the stress planning a wedding inevitably elicits.  He was beyond right!  We couldn’t have predicted the challenges we’d face when it came to planning the wedding (including a move to the other side of the country!), and without Meredith, the wedding as a whole would have cost more, would not have been everything we’d hoped it would be, and ultimately it would have been a little more stressful and a little less joyful.

Meredith was prompt, offered resources, was accommodating above and beyond her expected responsibilities, and thought of every detail ahead of time so I never had to worry or feel rushed.  What we appreciated most was that while she was professional, and ensured everyone involved “got the job done,” she did so in such a way that was respectful and kept it fun.  On the day of my actual wedding, all I had to do was relax and enjoy the day- exactly how it should be.

My husband and I can’t thank Meredith enough for double-checking our plans, easing our worries, making recommendations, and answering every request we had with, “Sure, that’s no problem!”  I would recommend Meredith to anyone.  Even if you’re on a budget, cut costs somewhere else as you could potentially spend more without her.  The service Meredith provides ensures you will be able to create and enjoy the day you always dreamed of!”

Kristine & Ryan – 9/7/2013

Kristine & Ryan hosted a sophisticated and gorgeous day in Spicer, MN on the day they were wed. After the ceremony when they said those special vows to one another, they headed to the historic Spicer Castle for the celebration. Guests were greeted with a yummy popcorn bar and a bar stocked with mason jars for their drinks throughout the night. Guests found their table via their escort “cards” & favors – mini hot sauce bottles! The tables were beautifully decorated with some flowers from the mother-of-the-bride’s garden and burlap-wrapped wine bottles as table numbers…oh – and cakes on every table! Guests loved that touch. :) Dinner was served by Big River Pizza – who cooked the pizzas in a woodfire oven on-site…YUM! After some toasts, cake cutting and their first dance as husband & wife, the party began. What a fun group this was to be around all day – and an adorable Bride & Groom. Congrats!

Morganne & Seth – 8/31/2013

Morganne & Seth were such a great couple to work with planning their big day. They utilized Bride Support’s premium package after finding the perfect venue and a couple vendors – but wanting help with finishing up the vendor searches and taking care of all of the details. They hosted their guests at the gorgeous Camrose Flower Farm in Stillwater – and gorgeous, it certainly was! Yes, the sun was a little warm (and I sweated more than any other wedding) – the joy and love from their friends was even warmer. Guests were greeted with mason jars & straws for filling up with iced tea or water and the program fans were a big hit. Oh – and the Groom’s mother put together quilt pieces for guests to sign as a “guest book” – which will then be made into a blanket for the couple’s new home…what a unique idea! Their sweet ceremony was a great reflection of them and they were finally man and wife. :) After a cocktail hour filled with yard games, standing in front of fans and cold drinks in their glasses, guests found their seats for dinner at tables named after iconic street names in the Twin Cities. The meal by Brasa was a bit hit (as always) and then the party started. Bellagala’s DJ filled the dance floor, the smores bar & photo booth opened and fun was had by all.

Congrats, you two!

Morganne & Seth gave the following review…

“Best decision I made in regards to our wedding was hiring Bride Support! Meredith made our wedding day completely flawless, and I am not exaggerating. Everyone is raving about our day and there is no way that would be happening without Meredith having her hand in it!

She pointed me in the right direction for almost all of our vendors, and coordinated all the communication with them in the weeks and day of the wedding. It was such a relief to have someone so professional, honest and genuinely invested in our day.

Meredith worked her tail off making our day perfect, she didn’t stop all night. Her hard work paid off, I don’t think we would have enjoyed our wedding half as much without her, we would have been too busy with vendors. If you’re on the fence about hiring a planner, hire Bride Support, you absolutely will not regret your decision. My mother-in-law even complimented Meredith and she doesn’t compliment anyone! :)”
